The public beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game will open after the conclusion of the closed beta next week.

CD Projekt RED have announced details of the upcoming open beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. The beta will begin for all players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on May 24.

First announced at E3 2016, the game has been in an ongoing closed beta since October. CD Projekt announced that this beta will close on May 22, with the servers then going offline for two days to facilitate the switch from closed to public.

Players who have participated in the closed beta will have their progress and collections reset but will be able to receive in-game rewards in the new public beta.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is scheduled to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Watch a trailer below.

I’m Megan, twentysomething aspiring writer, editor and film-maker who probably watches more television than is deemed healthy and if I’m not doing that then I’m either plugged into my computer or console of choice. Current obsessions include Assassin’s Creed, Lego Batman/Lego everything, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Supernatural, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Marvel everything and cosplay videos on YouTube. Also spend a good portion of time – and about 80% of my money – going to various Comic Cons (or planning to anyway) Someday I’ll step into reality but not right now – got too much to do elsewhere
